Multiphase Flow (MPS)
The multiphase flow group deals mainly experimentally with technically relevant, complex flow phenomena.
Current issues are the investigation of phenomena such as flow boiling up to critical heat flux density, counterflow limitation, direct contact condensation. For this purpose, experiments and investigations with conventional and advanced measurement methods are carried out at experimental stations such as COSMOS-L, COSMOS-H and WENKA. The goal of our work is to generate meaningful data sets for complex flow or heat transfer problems in multiphase flows and to understand the physical processes.
We offer exciting topics for HiWi jobs, student research projects, bachelor and master theses at any time.
